We share practical tips to help your flowers maintain their firmness, color, and prevent them from wilting quickly.

1. Refrigerator – A Florist's Best Friend

The ideal temperature for storing flowers is between +2°C and +7°C. It is in such conditions that the flower “falls asleep”, does not wither, and retains its shape.

2. Don't place flowers next to fruit

The fruit releases ethanol, which accelerates the process of flower wilting.

3. Do not store flowers below minus degrees

A frozen flower may appear to be in good condition visually, but its tissue quickly deteriorates after thawing.

4. Cut the stem

As soon as you take the flower out of the refrigerator, cut the end of the stem at a 45-degree angle and place it in clean, cold water. This helps the flower adjust to the temperature change without stress.
